The purpose of my substack to help equip and empower progressive faith leaders and faith communities with the best tips and ideas for digital ministry. Enjoy!
I look around in different online spaces. One person is making incredible YouTube content. Another has the perfect wit for Threads. A third person is creating amazing content on TikTok, and more than just content, they’re cultivating a community. Another is writing incredible pieces here on Substack, multiple times a week! A fifth person is all over Instagram with photos, videos, stories, and going live.
Five different people using five different platforms. And so naturally I think that I should be doing all five as well.
Anyone else, or just me?
I know I can’t do all the things. And yet I still try to.
I know going deep and making an impact is always better than skimming the surface and barley making a scratch.
Why half ass everything when I can full ass one thing?
Really, I need to take my own advice: Where are the people I am called to serve? What online spaces do I find energizing?
My eyes are always bigger than my stomach, my spoon is always filled with more than I can chew.
But when you try to do everything you end up mostly doing nothing.
And I don’t know about you, but doing nothing is not one of my goals.
If you could only choose one digital space or online platform, what would it be?
